Vajrasati Yoga is a deeply mindful and all inclusive approach to yoga that blends traditional teachings including physical postures, and other forms of meditation, Pranayama, Mudra, Mantra. Founded by Jim Tarran in 2000, Vajrasati emphasises intelligent and intuitive alignment, breath awareness, and compassionate release. Rooted in Patanjalis Sutras and yoga philosophy and History Vajrasati integrates influences from Iyengar and other Yoga schools, creating a practice that is adaptable, meditative, and deeply embodied and healing for the mind body and soul, which creates a ripple effect through out the universe for the elevate sufferings of all beings.
With a focus on developing integration awareness, release, Lila (play) with Resistance rather than achieving external shapes, Vajrasati encourages students to explore their inner experience through supported postures, movement, breathwork, pranayama and meditation. Teachers undergo a comprehensive and in-depth training (500+ hours), making Vajrasati one of the most thorough yoga teacher training programs in the UK.
